Command/Communications Trailer
Heartland's Disaster Relief Unit

The Heartland Baptist Association is partnering with the MBC and the NAMB to develop a Disaster Relief a Command/Communications Trailer to be used to enable other DR Units to be able to communicate in the event of a disaster. We are attempting to raise approximately $5,000 to fund the first phase of the trailer remodel and equipment purchases. Would you help as we enter this valuable ministry? Don't forget the training for Disaster Relief coming March 5th & 6th at New Hope Camp in Holt, Missouri. If you need more information:

RA & CO-ED RACING DERBY

First Baptist Church, Lathrop will again host the associational RA/Co-ed Racer Competition. The big day is set for Saturday, March 20, 2010. The Men’s Group will have breakfast ready to serve a 8:00 am. Thanks Guys!!! At 9:00 am we will begin registration and weigh in and the racer competition will begin at 10:00 sharp. Heartland Baptist Association encourages your church to participate in "God's Plan for Sharing" (GPS). The first phase of GPS will occur leading up to Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010. There will be a special emphasis every two years through 2020. The goal of GPS is "every believer sharing, every person hearing about Christ" by 2020.

This year's campaign will include television commercials, radio ads, billboards, etc. Each partipating church will be asked to prayer-walk their community and then distribute clear plastic bags with a simple gospel witness and an invitation to that church's Easter Sunday service.
